Oh and not to mention the fact that I've been interviewing about 30 people for a desk that I am building in Singapore.

Yeah its a little hectic.

You coders get to relax and see if your stuff works. Hehe.

Anyways, did you guys go to the event. Have a good time?
I didn't go. I thought I would get to relax this weekend but I got pulled into some of our release activities. I was backup for some of the "coders" who went out to San Jose for the release. They worked late into the night friday night so I took up some of the slack yesterday. I was up until 3:30am last night supporting the testers. I think you have it pretty good .

Welcome Portland.

There is a multi-model meet the first Sat of every month. Look out for post by Verbal.T. She and her husband put together this meet. Lots of Gs, Zs, Evos, etc... Its held at the Carolina Ale House in Raleigh. Wake Forest road I believe.

Time for us to have a Raleigh meet... since many have been MIA recently- we should just plan it. Perhaps a trip to the drag strip in Benson (?) then maybe cruz back up to Raleigh for some food (?) Chris and the folks at IOR have been asking when we are going to get together again. I think they have some give away items. Let's just do it... when is a good time.. maybe we can incude the Z guys.

Craigs car is at http://www.xtreme-g.com under the link that says "Fallen G" so that will explain him possibly not making it!

Raleigh G owners are just not enthusiastic about meets!

I spoke with Carolina Z about being able to compete in the "open class" and they asked how many active "G's" do we have and exagerated and said 20!

We should keep meeting at the 1st Saturday of every month at the "Carolina Ale House" until we get a larger G audience!

We used to have a mailing list - when Craig had organized a meet a while back.

Sorry to see your car like that Craig - nasty wheel damage! What happened?

I'm up for actually doing something at a meet, not just drinking a few beers (though that's cool too). Like a drive or even better reserved lot with cones and course or something... It's not that were not enthusiastic, but just hard to stay connected every month to just "meet". I'd say bimonthly meetings with an actual agenda would be awesome - followed by BEER! Or preceded by BEER! Or BEER throughout, but something else also - ha ha! Should get people to pitch in with ideas or help set up so it does not fall on just 1 or 2 to set it all up...

What you guys think?

Rcdash that is a very good idea.

Kevin, he said a Honda Civic cut him off and kept going. He ran into a curb amongst other things. Both Axles look bent and he said the car buckled at the roof.

I will work on a new email list and act as the admin for just us.

Oh were there pics of cars there? Man I must be hungry.

Not fair Amp!!! You know how busy I am. Besides, I leave for Singapore this Friday and won't be back until the 29th.

And holy shnikeys!!!! Craig's ride bit the dust. Man that sucks A$$!!!! That's got to be a total loss.

Oh and about three weeks ago I took the G into the dealership to get my passenger side window motor replaced (yeah it went out too) and I chatted with Chris for a little while. Chris was telling me that he saw Craig's ride in the shop a few days earlier, but it wasn't Craig that was driving it. It was some chick that Craig had been dating. Chris said the girl was peelin' out all throughout that small little lot....I think he called Craig up to let him know how his ride was being abused....Not that I'm advocating violence, but it wouldn't take a wife beater T-shirt and a 6 pack 'o miller lite for me to go all domestic abuse on that woman....

Totalled

Hello G guys,
Long time no c! Well The part about the honda is right but I was going to fast through the "S's" in downtown on Capital and the Honda pulled out! Was able to miss him but not the curbs!! back wheels went out and tried to correct and over corrected and into the curbs we went 4 air bags deployed!! Missed a tree and light pole by 6". Lucky!!!! The cars total damage so far is 21000k. I tt the Insurance guy and he is going to look at the car and do his own estimate. He asked me which way he should go if he is on the fense? I told him that I didn't really care on one hand I love the car on the other it will never be the same and since I have gotten separated from my wife the 650 a month would come in handy right now?? Anyways we will see, will miss the G!!!!! The girl part is true I had her take the G to the dealer for and oil change and chris did call me and tell me! She was having a bad day!! WOMEN CANT LIVE WITH THEM AND CANT KILL THEM!!
OH well I have an e-mail list still if u guys want it!!
SO long fellow G owners
Exfellow G owner - Craig
