Honestly, Deal's Gap kind of sucks when you go in in large groups and you would definitely be staying over night to enjoy a full day of driving. THe last two times I was up there we had police escorts. My friends and I rent a place on rte 129 / Deal's Gap for 5 days this may. If anyone is interested in meeting up there around then, I will definitely be riding the dragon a few times a day and fishing. One of the best places on earth IMO just need to go in small groups with a Valentine 1 detector and some walkie talkies. There are plently of sweet places to stay.

Gates open up at 6:00 pm we could meet up at the Wendy's (near Faulkner Rd. see Map/Directions tab on left of the link above) just off the Interstate say around 5:30 and roll to the track together.
