haha ok its cool im in no rush ill prolly just end up using these. Edgeracing has good prices but they shipped my tires to my billing address instead of the specified shipping address which turned out to be a huge hassle since my billing address is where i'm not living at!

tires-easy.com

T1-R's come out to $750 but you add shipping and it comes out to $890. I tried to ask for local pickup, but they don't offer it since their warehouses are scattered around the U.S.

That is a good price.

I am guessing the place Wick was talking about was Tires Buy Mark.

Well Tires Buy Mark is kinda f-ed up because they do a crappy job and misthread the tires. Then they give you the run around about taking care of it even though they explicitly warranty their product. Plus the monkey with the goattee...not the owner, but the employee, is a total jerk.

Anywho, even though they are cheap, I will never go to Tires Buy Mark again.

I am more than willing to make the extra drive and try Tire Warehouse if they are HONEST and keep their word on their work.

I hate having headaches over something that should be so easy to deal with. I am paying $800 or so. I should not have to bring a mechanic with me to make sure the job is done right.

Ha, I was just talking to Erin over e-mail a couple of days ago. She doesn't want to throw in the mounting/balancing for free. Almost any place I can think of does the install for free if you buy tires from them.

Yep, I went to Tires by Mark. The goatee guy said if you want to buy the tires cash + no tax, you have to come in and talk to Mark himself. So I went over (10 min drive, no biggy) and then the goatee guy goes... He's on the phone, wait about 5 minutes. 10 minutes pass, he talks to him, and comes back and says this is the final price (price was w/ tax), that's the best he said he could do as he is only making $10 per tire

Long story short, I showed him I had cash and walked away.

Also got mine installed today. Man, these Toyo's are so much quieter than my previous S03's. The ride is very solid, and overall the ride quality improved (w/ the new camber arms allowing more positive camber). I definitely recommend them for their price/performance.
