hi-flow cats: any legal/dealer problems?

Since I plan on replacing the entire intake and exhaust by the time I'm done, I'd like to replace the OEM cats with hi-flows to get the most out of the headers and exhaust. That's a problem, though, especially here in California.

Anyone on here in California install hi-flow cats and have problems with either a dealer or Smog or a police inspection?

just don't sell your stock ones! All HF cats have a warning about "off road use" only. Especially in CA.

I keep my stocks to put back on during smog time.
