I went to get a qoute today to respray my driver's side door and got a quote for around 500-600. To me, I thinks that is a bit pricey just to respray my drivers side door. The reason why I need to respray my door is that it got vandilized a year ago and it needed to get resprayed. I decided to get rid of my side door moldings that protect the car from door dings, However, the paint is off from the respray and the original paint. Thus, I need to respray my door. I was thinking, if any of you guys know of a person who has totalled their car and has an intact clean drivers side door that I would just swap doors. I need it in Diamond Graphite. If not, do you guys know any good paint shops in So Cal. that does a good job minus the overpriced job.I was expecting to get a qoute of around 200 bucks!

 

Its going to be very hard vto butt match the door to the rest of the car without a blend. Im sure they are charging you for a blend. If you find another G with a spare door it wont match. It would have had to roll off the line right next to yours for that to happen.
