kp tech window roll up mod install in so cal?
dude, the install is pretty simple and the door panels are a snap to take off.
just pop out the brushed alum panel and take out the screw. then look by the door handle inside and there is a little plastic square piece, pop that off and take off that screw.
look at the bottom of the door and look for the pry points. pop off the door and disconnect the harnesses.
my 06 was the same wire diagram that kp has on their directions however i checked with a voltmeter anyways just to make sure. the purple actuator wire is behind the speaker, just pop off the speaker and look for the wire loom that it's in.
tap into your lines and you're all set. One thing though is, i couldn't have the module close to the speaker or even close to the window controls in the panel. Here is where I installed mine at, I tried to keep the install fairly clean. Oh yeah and solder your joints and keep your wires pointing down to prevent any water from entering the unit.
