another no front licensce plate ticket

so i go to my car this morning and what do i find....i freak'n ticket . first time i ever received this kind of ticket. i'm pretty sure its from parking enforcement cuz the time i received it was 1:20 in the morning. its marked as "other-5200" (i'm guessing this is some type of serial number) with a $25 fine. so my question is...is this is fix-it ticket b'cuz there is no indication of it??? or can i just pay the $25 and be done with it??? i would hate to put the plate on and have to show it.

yup....go to like your nearest CHP office. that's what I did with mine. once you get it written off by the officer. you just sent in the ticket with the "signature" from the officer, and send in your payment. mine was like $10.

^^^oh ok..so yours is $25 then. Wait til you take it to a police station, then get it signed off by an officer. Then send out the payment with the ticket signed off.

DO NOT GO TO A CHP LOCATION.

At least not if you have other illegal mods. CHP will sometimes cite you for that other stuff when you bring your car in

Take it to a Los Angeles County Sheriffs location. I know there is one at Van Nuys Courthouse. Sheriffs are usually decent. They tend to be VERY harsh on real legitimate crimes(like illegal gun possesion), and let ticky-tack stuff go.

Are you guys sure it's a fix it ticket? I got a ticket at LAX last year for no front plate and it looked just like any normal parking ticket. It was issued by parking enforcement and I wasn't near my car when it was issued. I sent in the $25 and that was it.

i just got one recently too.. although it was $30. It looked exactly like a parking ticket and had no indication that i needed to get it signed off. It just says to mail in payment.

Oh...never thought of that. I took my car to my local CHP, and they were cool as h3ll. Well my car is stock. But my previous car was modded like crazy, and they didn't hassle me.

sorry hear that.but all you have to do is
get your ticket signed by an officer and send that ticket with the payment..
make sure you have a copy of your ticket just in case
and if I were you..I'll look for a young cool looking officer..
cuz last time when I went down to get it sign.this old officer
gave me a hard time..was inspecting everything...lol

What a pain. How about just putting your front plate on?
