Thanks everyone for your input. Yesterday, I got my five windows done at California Tint. $130 for Graystone from Johnson Films at 30 rear/40 sides (gotta watch for cops..).

I'm in West LA. Does anyone know of a good place to go, good work, not too expensive, and quick? (I don't mind paying a bit extra to get it done well. I had my rear window smashed and just have to have the back window retinted in 3M 5%.

Any places in West LA or around here, let me know. Thanks!

A follow up for anyone living in West LA who doesn't want to make the trek out to Rowland Heights or Rosemead:

I just got back from having my tint done at Santa Monica Car Sound. I talked the guy there into doing my BAT overlays as well. He said he wanted to do it because it was "something new". These guys are decently priced, but will not be as cheap as California Tint. VERY friendly service (they were chatting with me the entire time they were working about my car. Guy even gave me tips for the fiberglass box I want to make).

Santa Monica Car Sound and Window Tinting
1453 Lincoln Blvd
Santa Monica, CA 90401

Ask for Denny. Tell him the guy with the Double Din Pioneer setup in his G sent you if you ever go (Keith). They charged me $100 for the rear window and taillight tints. A bit pricey but they said they quote "competitively" for all 5 windows.

Thanks

EDIT: Sorry, I just saw the originator paid $130. Great price, I gotta see how late they are open.

Not in the same area as OP was looking, but for future reference for others, if you're looking in the Valley, I've had four cars done at this place and no complaints. Just had my G done there last weekend.

I'm happy with their work as well. Since I've received two tint tickets I'm also happy that they will take the tint off the front windows, and replace it at a later date for ~$45.
