Red face

SDSU - good school for business, parties, girls, disappointing collegiate sports and lots of Superstar/Moviestar Attitudes. I am about to graduate from UCSD, good school for bio/chem/engineering/medicine/research, lousy parties, some girls, non-existent collegiate sports, and lots of Elitist/Superstar Attitudes.

My big gripe with UCSD is they care more about cutting edge research than they do about student education. Sure its great to have professors who are pioneers in there respective fields, except for the fact that being a genius in your field usually means you can teach! Seriously, some of my profs might be on the verge of curing cancer but they couldn't teach a frog to jump. Ironically, several of my buddies initially attended SDSU out of highschool, zero graduated.

She will be studying Speech, Hearing, and Language Sciences. Her goal is to become a Speech Pathologist.

Buy why SDSU? SDSU is the closest college that offers this program. UCSD does not. SDSU is a well known college in this field and it is local and does not cost an arm and a leg, since it is a State school. Plus we are married and I have a career here in San Diego, and to move out of town would be difficult for us.

Thank you all for your comments and compliments.
