its cool guys i already took the car in but didnt go through with the trade. Im actually in a bit of a mess. I took the car to Universal City Nissan and they had their guys come out and evaluate the car. Anyways, ends up being that my car has been in an accident and the car has been repainted.. Its not the first time i hear it though, a few people have told me the same. The day i bought the car i Asked the dealer if it had ever been in any accident and their response was "no way we can get in trouble for selling crashed vehicles". Ive never crashed this car, all of the people who know me on here can vouch for that...ive never posted any threads saying ive crashed or **** like that. Now, should i take the car back to the dealer i bought it from and let them know this car may have been crashed or repainted? i know they're going to deny it or say that i crashed it and got it fixed. so my next question is do i take legal action if they deny it? help me out if you can guys i can use it right now im pissed and at complete loss since this is the first car i finance.

 

look it up with the vin.. if the crash date is before you bought your car then the dealer lied to you if after then its something u did..

 

Unless you have something in writing from the dealer who sold you the car that states the car was never repainted, you are probably out of luck. It's not illegal for a dealer to sell a car that's been repainted or in an accident.
