Crashed yesterday 2/9/07

Luckiley I'm O.K., and it wasn't the G. I don't know all of what happened, but I crashed my Magnum SRT-8 through a stop sign and then hit a tree. The car, I'm told went up on the drivers side and then back to all 4 wheels. Any way, I spent the majority of the evening in the hospital getting checked out (they think I may have small fractures on my ribs), and then they released me. Now I have to wait until Monday to see the damage to the Magnum. Any other news, and I'll let you all know.

Later,

Ray

Hey man, glad you're okay... Did something make you swerve? How did it all start?

Glad to see you're ok Ray. Man that's crazy! through a stop sign, up on your driver's side, and hit a tree...that sounds like a pretty bad accident. You really must have a guardian angel watching over you.

As to what or how it happened, I don't know. I just remember the police officer waking me asking if I was O.K. The only thing I remember before that was leaving the drug store on the opposite end of the road. The thing I'm most thankful for was that my family was not with me. As I get more information, I'll let you all know.

Ray

Actually I was just in the parking lot of the drug store waiting to see the flower truck drive by. I had purchased some flowers for my wife since we had a little disagreement the night before. As I remember it, I got tired of waiting there and decided to head back home and wait there. For some reason I passed my house and went down 2 more stop signs. The second one is where I crashed. When I came to, there was a officer asking me if I was O.K. and that I had just been in an accident. The really scary thing is I don't remember anything after leaving the parking lot. My wife is really freaked out just because of all that happened and no explainable answers. Then we go all the way back to when I crashed on my motorcycle 5 years ago. I crashed the bike on the same date Feb-9th! And I have no memory of that either. So today my doctor is sending me to a neurologist to have my head checked. Maybe we'll get some kind of answers there. Oh yeah! I went over lastnight and looked at the Magnum. It looks like I car did not in fact roll up on to the drivers side. It looks like the body flexed when the passenger side hit the tree and the sunroof shattered. The passenger headlight and the section of bumper is gone and the right front fender is peeled all the way back to the door.

Hope to see everyone on Thursday,

Ray
