first thing wrong.....A BODY GUY, doing transmission/clutch work????
stick to engine and trans techs to do mechanical repairs....
let the body guys sling bondo...no offense to body guys
More than likely the clutch must come back out, and see what got ****ed up!

^^+1 on the seeing a nissan/infiniti dealership
I would get it checked out asap - I wouldn't want to drive around with a messed up clutch. I'm not a professional or anything, but the clutch/transmission is attached to other parts - so if the clutch is not working correctly, it might ruin those other parts.

Wow, first never take it to a body shop to do engine work...I guess lesson learned. Never listen to your friend anymore...Another lesson learned...He probably mounted the clutch plate incorrectly or off centered. So, when the engine is on you can't shift gears because the clutch is not fully disengaged..That might be it..You might as well tow it to a real shop and bill them for that...Good luck
haha
yea hopefully nothing is wrong with the car, i guess i have to take it somewhere for inspection. how much would that cost?? low on money now cause of the new clutch and installation.
o yea, the guy didnt seem to be a very good mechanic, he was trying to turn on the engine with the gas pipe line to the engine ripped off and gas was spewing everywhere.....makes me worry
AND another thing, my car went in there clean.. the next day it was fking dirty and dusty!!! hope its not going to mess with the sensors...

more info please?
gears grind when u try to put it in gear as if the clutch wont disenguage?
you can start the car so i assume you feel pressure when pushing on the pedal?
What did you install? clutch, flywheel, brand?
and lastly what shop is this so fellow members do not take their cars there..
