reason they cant carry certain film brands is because of their price.. certrain brands want their tinters to charge $xxx.xx

the price fallows (MENTION MY NAME!)
$110.00 = 5 windows Coupes

$120.00 = 5-6 Window Sedan

$150.00 - $160.00 = tint remove & retint!

$150.00 - $160.00 = SUVs

What kind of price can you get for their ceramic tint? I believe it's called Johnson Insulatir. I am looking to tint my G35 Sedan and want the heat rejection properties of metal without affecting my GPS.

California Tint is a good tint shop. My advice is get there EARLY as in before they open. They will get booked up for the day within 2hours. I was like the 5th person in line and got it back 3hours later, but it was worth the wait.

I got 20% all around which is really pushing it. 20% is dark enough not to feel the burn on a hot sunny day. It's not THAT dark but it is dark enough for cops to pull you over. Sunny day you can see faces, cloudy day you can see figures, night time is almost pitch black. 50% is useless IMO. It adds only a little bit of shade to your window which is not enough to get some privacy nor block the sun.

i agree.. i'm trying to see if they have like 28% which i found on my previous car to be perfect. my tint shop did a horrible job on my current tint in terms of dot matrix and there was a bug stuck inside my tint i just noticed recently and too lazy to take it back to them... tint man in walnut

**UPDATE** for anyone that's retinting.. it may take them 4-6 hours to do. i just got quoted earlier today and they said i must leave my car there for 4-6 hours because they must make sure the defrosters dont come off so it takes more time.

I called, used your name, and got quoted $115 for the G. He said he'd do my buddy's S500 for $120 as well.

hey eric,

i talked to some white dude.. he quoted me $110 for the tint and $70 to remove. he also said it'll take about 4-6 hours to remove because they need to bake it so it wont rip off the defrosters yada yada yada.. i used your name he kinda just blew it off. i think then the owner came up over hearing our conversation and said the dot matrix is cake on the G. i just dont have a ride in the mornings because i work out of el monte/rosemead wells fargo so it's kinda tough for me. so i have to go 9 am thursday of this upcoming week to get it done.
