I Hate the 57

So many damn dump/gravel trucks on it that its getting rediculous. I've got 6 new deep rock chips in the past 2 weeks from those Aholes. I wish one would just crack it so I can get their plate and make them pay for a new windshield.

is it like that EVERYDAY?
i usually take 55 from irvine to anaheim hills, but coming from Pasadena i had to take 210 -> 57 this morning. man that was an amazing drive. I got so frustrated that i started laughing out loud. people are crazy man. too many trucks.
in fact i was thinking they should be restricted to ONE lane. they take up all the lanes and they're slow as hell.
i saw a few G35's on the way too, where you one of them?

I was one of them, however I don't head for the office till 900am. As far as the trucks, yes, it is like that every freakin day and I too was thinking about how trucks should be restricted to the two right lanes for the sanity and safety of all drivers. I drive the 55 - 22 - 57 everyday and while the amount of traffic is pretty light, its just the type of traffic that sucks.

those freeways arent bad if you're on the "right" side. if you're on the "other" side you can get screwed in traffic BIG TIME!!
tomorrow i have to do the same commute, so im thinking i should take off around 6 am from pasadena, which hopefully would put me in anaheim hills before 7:30 am. sleepy feels better than frustrated!

10 freeway L.A. area with the wavey roads (near staple center)
710... just sucks
5fwy where it meets the 91 to the 605 is hell to drive on (traffic)

In 2009 the 5 is receiving a few more lanes near Norwalk (between 91 and 605). that's good news, but unfortunately i think the traffic is outgrowing very rapidly the growth in freeways.
oh, dont forget 405 near LAX all the way to 10

Some of you guys are lucky its only rockchips. I've managed to avoid so many things on the freeway but was unfortunate enough to get struck by some fencing material, someone's license plate, pilon cones and wooden debris. My car is totally trashed now

btw happened on 91/710/405 fwy

The car infront of me today kicked up some sort of metal and smacked my front bumper and left a nice scrape on it. Cal Trans seriously needs to close the 57 freeway for a couple of nights and sweep it up.

+1,000,000,000!!! This is without a doubt the worst fwy in SoCal. When I had my Civic, I bent not one but two wheels on that fwy. I have never bent a while anywhere else, ever.

Aye! SoCal freeway blowz azz.

Add 60 to the shiet list. So many semis it's unbelievable.
It's quite a breath of fresh air to be on the toll road like the 241 once in a while. Smooth open highway as far as you can see. Damn the CHP however.
