wheel repair in SoCal

I was wondering if any of you guys know a reputable shop in SoCal (preferably close to Los Angeles!) that does good work on repairing curbed wheels... I curbed my wheel today, and I can't stand looking at the damage I did.. I really need to get it fixed. I really appreciate your input.

And on a side note, does anyone know how to uninstall a rear splashguard? I'm installing a new one because I scraped one on a high curb when I was backing out...

Thanks in advanced!!!

splashguard is held on by double sided tape and i believe there is 1 or 2 screws on the bottom of it.

tug gently One thing to mention though, is that the new guards will not stick as well as the old ones. I scraped mine too so I got new ones, but no matter how hard I stick on the new ones, they still don't hold on that well.

WHY?! haha :'(

that's not cool...

but really, why? shouldn't they be exactly the same? it's not like these G's were shipped to dealers with their own specifically matched splash guards...

i thought they were attached by the dealer when you buy the cars?

i dunno.. maybe i was just unlucky. It comes with adhesive and it didnt stick too well for me. You could always apply a better double sided tape on top of it if u want i guess.

heat it up before you pull it off. they might make it a lil easier to pull off.

clean thoroughly before applying the new adhesive.

Most of body shops now will have an air tool called Eraser tools, it is a air tool that comes with specail formular rubber pads that will turns at the certain RPM and removes those side marking tapes, double side tapes or any decals and it won't scratch the paint or burn the paint. If anyone needs more infomation on this tool then pm me.
