hey, i'll be taking a class this fall through open university . . .

when I went there between 1993 and 2000 (I was pursuing a doctorate in beerology) I lived in several places. There are plenty of places, but I really enjoyed living by the Grove, right off of College blvd and the 94 towards lemon grove, about 10 mins south of campus. Back then, that whole mall wasn't much at all, now it's booming. I used to live right across the street. So check out the College Grove area.

If not, La Mesa is a close second if you want live close.

And then there's always PB. You won't get any studying done over there, but you'll have fun!

Good luck!

^^^Mira Mesa is kind of far from the college area though. 20 minutes give or take. Hell, for a 20 minute ride, I'd live by the beach. That's just me though.
