obviously authentic would be better because it is authentic . Im guessing it has better fitment, quality, etc etc.

It's all up to you bro. A lot of people spend the extra money and get the authentic. Even though authentic has better fittment you pay more. The money that you spend on a replica to prep, and fit will amount to the same amount just about or if not more than purchasing authentic.

Check out Klumzyee for replicas if you are going that route.

if you got the dough, go authentic. if you go replica, contact klumzyee.
fyi fiberglass is easier to prep than polyurethane, but polyurethane is more durable.

should never assume fitment is better with authentic kits.

authentic top secret front fits like crap, nismo diffuser, impul sides (just a few off the top of my head).

my replica impul sides fitted/painted/installed cost less than authentic impul sides alone and fit better.

I've got the authentic Impul rear and sides - no issues at all. Most authentics are fiberglass or a blend of some sort. The nice thing about SOME of the authentics and replica's, is that you can get them in poly - which will stand up to abuse, rubs, etc. much better...though harder to repair.

Money or budget-wise - the replica's are great....it's really a toss up, unless you know the replica's manufacturer is top notch - like KLUMZYEE!!!!

wow thanks everyone for the referal =DD

^you have a PM =)

overall it depends on the body shop.. I've fixed had bodyshops installed the TS front wrong in every way shape and form and get into an argument with me on how they spent 4hours and it still fits like crap.. we re-fill the holes in and reinstall and it fits like a glove.

Depends......(not the diaper)

Like Klumzyee mentions, it depends on the bodyshop but also the quality of
either the replica or authentic piece. I put a body kit on a TransAm a few
years ago that was trash, it never met my standards. One of the sides was
twisted and never fit perfectly but the rest of the kit was great/perfect.
