Question Looking For a traffic lawyer

So i have to go to court on aug. 31st for going 78 on Burbank blvd. which is a 50 mph zone, anyway i figure having a lawyer present may benefit the outcome, so do any of you in the SoCal area have a good lawyer to refer me to?
What are his rates/location and was it beneficial for you?

i figure my raised insurance will be more than a lawyer in the long run

The lawyer I used for on my tickets cost $1000 but the ticket was written off and it was a 23mph over ticket. If you want I can try to find his info but cant promise anything since I dont know if I still have it Only thing is according to some of the posts I have read from other people, $1000 seems a bit too much now so...ya.

wow $1,000??? i dunno about california but in florida a decent traffic lawyer will charge between $70-$100 for such an infraction.

good luck. i got probation, fine, and court and lawyer fees for 30 over. never had to show up in court, lawyer took care of it all, and record is still clean. been driving the speed limit since.

and they usually get u a plea deal, like plead guilty they will get u traffic school if u are not eligible or pay the full amount with no point on ur records etc etc. A decent lawyer is going to charge 700 and above to get the whole ticket dismissed.

not in your area, but i'll post him anyway:

Mr. Ticket in San Diego
http://www.mrdui.com/mrticket.html

I swear by him. He still gets me traffic school even though I've exhausted all my opportunities. And he knocked down a 1,000 speeding ticket to $180.

Also request a discovery from court (officers notes) you might be able to fight it your self.
