Alright, so I lied. Here's what I really want to know:
I know it's been asked before, but a lot of the threads seem out of date. What tint places in the LA area with do a GOOD job, for a decent price. I'd rather pay more for a great job, than less for a ****ty one. This is for both my G and my buddy's S500.
Also, what types of tint should I really consider? I'm looking to go around 25% everywhere except the windshield; I'm looking mostly for heat reduction and interior protection, with looks being a third priority. I've heard of Huper Optik, Johnson, Formula One (??), etc... But what really works? What doesn't streak, bubble, or turn purple?
Real stories about the shops and tint are encouraged. None of this "well, my buddy's girlfriend's dad's neighbor's cousin's myspace buddy said that he heard this place was good" crap. Thanks!

ca tint in rosemead - that's all you need to know. 
$110 out the door. perfectly hand cut to the very edge of the windows. lifetime warranty, iirc.

Hey try California Tint man. Just let me know when you'll go and I'll make sure they take good care of you! The price is $125 for Coupes and +$10 for titanium (i think) but the price I get for the guys here is $110 with a REAL life time warranty as long as you mention my name.. they wont dick you around afterwards if anything happens.
Lastly the file down the edges so you do NOT see a gap between glass and film. IMO its very clean and I've had them tinting our cars since.. eh pretty damn long ago.. lol my friends 2000 sienna is still limoed out with NO peel or fade..
