will it be hard for me to transition over from snowboarding to skiing?

just wana try it out and see how it is but im afraid i'll suck and waste a whole day w/skiis.

i really dont know, chances are you will suck the first day or two, just like when you started snowboarding. Though just about everyone i've talked to who went from skiing to snowboarding has said snowboarding is easier to pick up than skiing.....and more fun
