Body Repair in San Diego
Body Repair in San Diego
Can anyone recommend a good body shop/bumper repair shop in San Diego? I got a scuff at the grocery store. I have Ivory Pearl paint and I heard that it is hard to match.

if you wanna do a custom job i can refer you to someone, or if the damage is not bad, and you just want a respray i can probably take you to a better place as well. Let me know
Chapparone Autobody FTW! They're on Balboa around the block from in-n-out. They sprayed my civic type r, good shlt.

It's pretty minor. From 20 feet you can't even tell. But there definitely is damage (black showing) and I haven't even had the G for 2 months yet. Everyone tells me they need to respray the whole bumper. I'm gonna try to get them to fill in my license plate holes too. If you have any other shops to recc, I will check them out this weekend.
THANKS!!!!!!
Most scuffs I have seen can be buffed out (no, this isnt the THAT'LL BUFF RIGHT OUT joke... HAHAHA). Like you said, the entire bumper will have to be resprayed. In order to do a 100% match the paint will have to be blended from your bumper to fenders and possibly the hood, which of course is a lot more. I would live with just doing the bumper itself because our cars already have mismatch bumpers from the factory.
AND YES!!! Cover them holes! I have the annoying front plate holder on mine!
Hit up Chapparone Autobody, ask for Chris or Mark.

U can try United Autobody in Miramar. Ask for Mark, the Owner or Kyle, the Asst. Mgr. Tell them Scott sent U. They have done my cars as well as my parents and other friends. Long history with that shop. Quality work.
