Is it true at cal poly if you get a parking ticket you can get one waived off?

yea the first parking ticket you get you can get it waived off, all you have to do is go to the police station and show them your parking pass and tell them you forgot to put it on. FTW hahaha

what skylinekid said, but if you parked in faculty or staff parking, they won't let you waive that one off.

Also the parking pass needs to be bought under your name before you got the ticket and the car has to be under your name or someone in the family with the same last name. I got a ticket one time cuz i forgot my parking pass. The permit was under my GFs name because she bought it for me and they would not waive the ticket.
