Just curious. Is anyone here going to The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Pomona? If so, I have a few questions. Shoot me a PM. Thanks! I'm thinking about transferring.

I wanted to take some classes for that major, but more for the Management side of things.

I knew a couple of people who were HRT majors, but I have to check to see if I still have their contact info...

Haha, I'm majoring in social science come spring quarter. I'm still not convinced my major isn't bull****. :] May switch to international buisness....or just plain old business. How do you guys like cal poly? Never been there before I made the choice to send in my intent to register. Orientation is on February 6th.

CPP is cool and all, but not much to do around there, occasionally these guys will set up like a random meet or cruise up at GMR. Campus is nice and for the most part people mind their own business so it's pretty chill. Parking is a b!tch though as I'm sure most college campuses are.

If you major in Business you would have to choose an emphasis, and I believe they do have Int'l Business as an emphasis. I just graduated in June 08 with a Business Admin major and an emphasis in Management and Human Resources

^^There is quite a few people who are HRT majors, but they mainly go that route because they want to end up owning their own restaurant and such. The Collins school is also kinda segregated from the campus, it's still only like a 10-15 min walk away from most of the classes, but it's all the way on top of a hill so it feels like forever walking up there lol

^^For the most part, most people choose to go the Business Admin route...

so I don't really think it's as impacted as the Business majors and such. Have you checked out the campus and The Collins School in person?

Oic. My GF goes there. I've been to the campus only one time. It's freaking cow country.
