maybe all you need to do is change the bulb?? did you try that for the dome light....for the clock light you might have to open up the dash and see if the light blew...

He is also missing his compass as well as another few things that don't light up if I can remember from last Thursday correctly. The clock light bulb is known to go out pretty regularly, but that doesn't really explain his other issues.

How about if you leave the battery unplugged for 5 minutes? Will it work, then not work again? Might have a fuucked up BCM.
