Naw, the "look on their face" was more like:
"Look at those idiots that paid 8-10K + more for their rides than we did. Too bad they don't realize our G's match, or out-perform all of them. They are dumbasses and don't even know it"
...or something like that.

It’s really funny how different people perceive things differently.

When the BMW meet circled around us, I was looking at them out of disbelief and was a bit embarrassed for them. Now they may have interpreted this as “looking scared” although I think that may have been one huge leap of assumption.

What were we afraid of? That one of their cars would break down and that we won’t be able to pull out of the parking lot or that one of the drivers wouldn’t be looking at where they were driving and crash into one of us.

I may not know much about cars, but I do know that the BMWs have been out a heck of a lot longer than then Infiniti G35. No wonder they were able to pull together such a huge group (and all their cars weren’t even the same models!!).

In conclusion, I feel darn proud to be part of the G35 crowd at the Irvine Spectrum because WE were the group acting like mature adults while the BMWs were just childish and apparently don’t think things through if they thought driving in a circle around us would scare us.

Welcome Stewa101. We had about 6 cars there. I will have pics posted up by the end of the week. Been busy sorry! Hey Bonedaddy we meet like once or twice a month. It won't be long now.

Anyways Infiniti might sponsor us for a club. So is Stewa101 or Bonedaddy or anyone else interested? If so, Email me so that i can put ur email address in my hotmail account. When it is official then i will post more stuff. I will email you guyz events that i am going to go to. Ok?

Yeah i agree with Wen. WE were definitely more mature. Its ok, one day we will have more and our cars will be alot better than theirs! FOR SURE!!

03 CB G35 Coupe - ordered 2/5/03

 

Wendy...since your posting up the Irvine meets I am replying to let you know I am a new Coupe owner and live in Irvine. I plan to join you guys at the next Spectrum meet.....parking lot area closest to the ferris wheel. Right. Funny a while back I contacted Noel at Fresh Alloy to inquire about a club here in Irvine....he did not know if one was organized yet. What do you think?

Welcome, Mark! Congrats on getting your new G35 Coupe. I have so much fun driving mine! It is such a coincidence that you are inquiring about a club, because we are in the process of starting one. G35lin is heading it up. We are still in the phase of coming up with a club name. Let us know if you have any suggestions. Sorry Wendy...my coupe photo is under "Rides", page 4, top row, third picture in. Open hood under Growler. Seems these photo's get shuffled around as more members ad pictures.

They seem to mostly be in alphabetical order by your username, except the first four on page 1 for whatever reason.
