I shall keep you in my prayers even if I do not know you, I am truly sorry to hear what happen to you and really do hope you feel better and get out of that hospital asap. I hate the hospital! I been there too much! Time does sometimes fly so slow in there and can be boring and scary, but just stay strong buddy, you'll be fine and up in no time.

Thanks a lot everyone. This is just the start of things right now though. If I am a candidate for surgery, then I'll a whole lot more testing to do just to get to the table. But, I look to it with anticipation that I'll be all better. If all goes well, I may be driving by my birthday in January. See, you just gotta keep looking at the positive side. I was trying to sleep right now, but my roommate with a 2 broken vertibrae in his neck has some friends over. Maybe it will cause me more siezures that the doctors need for me to have.

Later,

Ray

Nah Man! I'm just joking. Besides, my wife is a 6'-1" blonde. I think she's pretty secure. Marriage is awesome. I have not had any siezures today, so they are saying maybe we'll try one more day. This really is getting boring. At least I have my trustee laptop to keep me occupied. Movies, games, and the internet, helps out a lot. Plus being able to communicate with good friends and people from the board.

I'm glad things are looking up! Well if you were a premier member, you'd have access to the Anything Goes section.

Good luck, man.

My wife works at Cedars and UCLA as a neurologist. She's currently doing training in the EEGs with video monitoring, so what you describe sounds very familiar.

Yeah, it's fun to keep moving from one side of the small bed to the other and listen to the camera move to keep track of me. They have to keep it close on my head to see what's going on up there. I keep reaching down to scratch myself and looking across the hall to see if they are watching all the time. I was moved to a room that's at just the right anlge to look in and see them watching me. Well I had absolutely no siezures today, so they are putting me back on my meds and getting ready to send me home tomorrow. Then they will go over the information they have and get back to me in a few weeks. They said I will need and MRI before I leave though. Hopefully I'll be home by dinner time,,,,, if my wife can make it up to get me, or if she feels like it!
Well se you guys at the next meet.

Later,

Ray

Sorry to hear. Good luck!

BTW I've spend over 200 days and nights in the hospital. It definitely is not a fun place.
