Rants + Dealership Screwup!
so i go in yesterday(4.11.08) to infiniti of glendale to get a oil change(to start tests for oil consumption issues) and so after i pick it up i go with my buddies on the 134 to pasadena, all of a sudden we smell this burning smell, then we smoke coming out of the back,so i pull over, open the hood, smoke coming from the engine, im like ok? so my buddy tells me to check the oil, heh.. here it is... the mechanic FORGOT to put the dipstick back.... so we assumed all the smoke came from all that... got the car towed to glendale, when i told them about it, every single person was INCREDIBLY quiet, and their jaws dropped...

and one of the managers has the audacity to come up to me and ask me who authorized the tow... yah, im going to get reimbursed for that one
and so i got a loaner car, i think its an 07-08 g35 sedan, pretty comfortable ride i gotta say

oh yah, iv heard some stuff, i just never figured that a mechanic would forget the dipstick.. im still baffled by that one + they were going to replace my headlights(recall) but they couldnt cus they needed my wheel lock key(wheels need to come off to install new headlights?) and so they just left the screws on the side not even put them back in...

Then they put locktight onto the screws holding my calipers on. That made it a bee-yatch to get those undone and I had to heat the bolts up with a blowtorch. Meh.
