Meet Permits?

Have put many meets together never had to get a permit........but i have heard some people buy a permit to be allowed to GTG..........

Can someone give me details on this? whats the benifit? whats the charge?

^thats cause they accused them of having a car show due to the open hoods / models walking around..

permit for a GTG? are you serious?? we cant just drive to a parking lot and talk? wtfff

speak with the owner of the plaza. If you have documentation that the GTG was authorized by the owner of the property, the cops CANNOT kick you out, because you are on private property.

It's like getting a permit to shoot a movie...

Not worried about Chino Hills............


Wondering for our annually HB meet........where we had almost 100 last year!


Even though we pay 20 bucks i dont want any problems.......

you just need to check with the municipality that controls the park (i.e. city, state, etc).

Just need to research if we will need a permit for HB meet.......what does it do for us? If not much then we will do as we have been......

We will have our cruise spot if we need to move it........

Thanks Glenn that would be awesome......and anyone that can help this year.......many ideas but will need help very busy with work and other stuff........

Typically the cops won't do anything unless people are just acting stupid or the people complain. For bunch of cars getting together you shouldn't need a permit unless you are taking professional pictures that will be in a magazine. If they see people selling stuff then they might say something. Like for my BBQ they want all sorts of permits.

1) photography permits
2) the models or girls need to have insurance
3) if you want to pop your hood it's a permit. Considered a car show.
4) photographers need to have insurance...

The list goes on...In other words you need to pay the city to gather a big group. They want their money for their troubles...(BS) Anyways, I am not throwing another G35 BBQ at Mile square...They lost my business. I just hope they don't bug you guys on the HB GTG. They will I think if it gets too big...
