Reputable Shops in 310 area code for Spring Install?
Heya, I was wondering if any of you fellow gDrivers in the Los Angeles area could point me towards a reputable shop closest to the 310 area code that can install some 350z H-Tech springs for me? Can this install be done in one day (AKA I drop car off, wait while springs are installed, & drive car back home same day?) How much would the install cost me?
On another note, I have OEM coupe 19s. I want to make it look a little more aggressive by putting some wheel spacers on. What size wheels spacers should I buy, and what brand? If it helps, I have not and do not want to roll my fenders. Will it make my G look lower if I push out my rims with the drop from the H-Techs?
MY final question is: where is the cheapest place I can find the springs & wheel spacers?
Many, many thanks for your help. (:

Need 4 Speed in Glendale, Status in Hermosa Beach (i think they are still there), and Street Image in somewhere (lol) can do it. They can get it done in a few hours and install shouldn't be more than $200 ($150 more likely).
don't konw about the spacers for OEM 19s - what are the offsets? the easiest way is to measure the distance between the tire and inside edge of the fender. make sure you get hubcentric spacers and the bolt-on type spacers are easiest to use (eibach & project kics). and yes, it will make your G look lower, but it won't be in reality lol
you should also consider doing the springmount mod and getting a rear camber kit. search for redlude97's thread for info on the springmount mod - you can buy an extra set of springmounts to cut down in advance that way the shop can install them at the same time. gruppe-s & thmotorsports seem to have the best prices for SPC rear camber kits - $169ish.
also, be sure to get an alignment afterwards

Thanks for the quick reply, bigc.
Are those the closest shops?
The offsets for OEM 19s are
I might do the springmount mod... how much are springmounts? Would it be cheapest to get them from Riverside Infiniti? Is a rear camber kit necessary either with or without the springmount mod?
Thanks, I will get an alignment 3 weeks after, so I can allow time for the springs to settle.

Anyone else have any input? Anything is greatly appreciated.

don't know how much the springmounts cost, but it should at least be quicker to get them from riverside.
its borderline whether you will need a camber kit with 350z Htechs if you don't do the springmount mod. if you do cut down the springmounts, however, it is unlikely that you will be able to get back into spec without the rear camber kit.

Thanks for the replies, RRG35, MEXTEP, & ac419.
Carson and Montebello seem a bit far from me... However, I might hit up caskyline if he's somewhere close.
After a little more contemplation, I think I can install my own springs... it's just that I don't have the tools or a flat surface to do my own install. My friends might be able to hook it up with the required equipment, but I'm unsure at the moment. Other than that, the install seems pretty straightforward. The only thing I'm concerned about is installing a rear camber kit, which looks a bit challening.
Any other reputable places close to 310 area code?
