Spoke with the owner yesterday. He'd actually prefer to do this in Downey since he doesn't own the lot in Industry and the neighbors don't always have a sense of community.

How does Downey feel to you all? 150+ parking places + cooperation from the local PD. We would actually have 2 officers assigned to us so that we don't get misrepresented or rolled on for those participating peacefully.

 

I live down the street from there, so I would be down..

Downey one is nice, lots of car meets there - Friscos is an excellent host there and they take care of the meets =) just make sure everyone eats there to return the favor..

Ted city of industry is =\ I did a meet there last time.. we didnt get hassel by security or anything but you're not allowed to take any pix there either.. no cameras

there all underage.. lol i went out with this girl that worked at the industry one.. she was 17 at the time lol.. (I was 18) .-.

The one in Downey is on Woodruff just north of Imperial Hwy. Near the 605/105. They rope off half there parking and use the business parking thats next to them. its kind of an industrial area so we wont get complaints from neighboring businesses. Theres also a club and a golf n stuff near by for after meets.

 

hey im from norcal, but im heading down there for the weekend, ill be in paramount< how far is it from paramount, if its not to far count me in..

 

still working on the details and need to get some manpower from the team. If we move forward with this, we'll probably do it on a monthly basis.... weekly is too hard to sustain with our demographic

 

Frank is a cool person.... I use to go to the bike nights there.... The cops were only dix if you mess arround and you would have to leave after Friscos closes.. But then we would go the the TGIF in Puente Hills Mall. Its just on the other side of the 60 fwy on Colima & Asuza.
