Well good, I'll be sure to tell the guys who offered me $120 for the car after showing him the picture.
The guys who want to buy this thing treat there cars like cars; not museum pieces. Nissan built the car for one purpose: to drive; not to tuck away in a garage.
And if you think I abuse my cars, then you would be wrong -- two of my cars have been show cars (both of which I drove on a daily basis); my current daily driver (the TT) is immaculate; and the GT-R will be so too.
you will notice in the pictures that the car is dirty. I would not authorize the dealer to wash the car and put towel swirls on it.
Today, the car will get a full detail with dionized water, clay bar, polish/paint correction (that means you take an orbital buffer apply two different polishes to get the deep wet look), and then wax.
I am confident that the detail will get rid of any dirt caused by my son's foot print. (Oh, in my book, my kids come first; not the car. They too should be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor.)
Amazing, and congrats. I 100% agree with you that the car is made to be driven not tucked away in the garage. Huge props to you for sharing your wonderful car with the guys in your community, only wish that I could enjoy your kindness myself

It can be fixed or cleaned and if not.... oh well. Loved ones come first.
Even when my friends have their pets in the car and the pet gets motion sick and hurls on the carpet, they flip out and get all pissed off for the rest of the day.
I just don't get it.

I sincerely hope that when people buy these cars that they don't just flip open an Option2 mag and start listing stuff they're going to get, just because things are in Japan doesn't make them better than ANY other part available. With US spec cars, patience is a virtue, allow some US tuners to come up with things, save money, enjoy the car more and afford MORE parts!
