Well - I knew sooner or later this subject might come up, but first many THANKS to Marty / Rick / Randy / Viet / Tony for kind words; for always and continous support and advice. For those I have met at the recent shows and spoke with, as well shared many kinds words I Thank you! Yes - you cant please everyone and yes there will be HATERS Quick history - the car was a factory brillant silver, lowered, molded side skirts, Volk wheels and MOMO interior done in black suede with a built motor by GTM, APS TT, many of the parts where already red and chrome on the engine / car from the previous build. The cars' paint is rasberry pearl by House of Kolors with black striping - paint scheme / combination was developed by a team member of Ar-kan based from a Advan race car. I wanted a paint color that's eye catching and yes its close to the APR shop car but no, not exact. The wheels actually where the first set for the APR shop car, but I had the hoop painted the same color as the car, the wing well I love it, so I wanted one too. Yes, APR is one of many sponsors of the car (no it wasnt a full sponsorship - they dont offer this on there widebody G35 kits - believe me I tried). The car has taken several years to get it to this level - doesnt happen over night, but my goal this year was to compete for show.

Cool thing you chimed in Chris, I didn't even now you were on here Your car is really sick man and IMHO is one of the best complete G35 show cars out there.

My other favorites are Randy's car for sure, Marty, Viet for FX's (very unique and completely out of the ordinary), Kurt (I love the yellow scheme and the 20' Anceltion wheels and engine bay) as soon as his car is done JDMG35 (very unique looking widebody) Klumzyee (with his bad a** 20' DPE wheels)

All of those cars have very unigue mods and have been modded to the owners taste and style, you really can't go wrong with 1 or 2 unique mods to make your car stand out above the rest.

Again, nice car Chris.... Do you get to drive it around or is it purely a show car?

Sorry, I don't know what goes into painting the engine bay area so I was just curious why the firewall wasn't painted like the rest of the engine bay.

Damn, even your hood latch is blinged out! Never woulda though of that one!

Love your rear seat setup and headlights!

honestly chris your car is hot i am not going to hate BUT, there is a huge simularity between your car and the APR car but.its like if i would copy Ricks pink Z. its so unique that everyone would know I am copy his style. That being said you have tons of money in your ride and completely surpased the APR car by far. the fully built motor is proof you know how to build a car. I still vote for your car as hotest car. I have my personal views on show cars that are never daily driven or at least driven.

your car: (not to original but still SICK AS HELL)

APR car:

To me the hotest car has to follow these rules:

Driven (not as extreme as daily but at least often and not sitting at a shop all the time or at home)
wide body and color change plus everything in between
boost a must

I think there is only one car that i know of in so cali that falls in that category and its orange. my second choice would prob be your car.

Dont take it the wrong way just my views on what a true "hottest car" is a hot car is not a car that just sits around. It has to be driven like you stole it. or why build a car thats a coffee table?

Thanks! - Honestly on the engine bay and I dont have anything to hide, I had to make a decision, I didnt have enough money budgeted to pull the engine this year with all the changes I made. Plan for '09 is to pull the engine and smooth out as much of the engine bay as possible and repaint the engine bay. Driving it - well that is the plan just need to get a couple of things fixed, but I keep pulling it out of GTM shop to go to shows so they never have time to finish those couple things I need to have done (I cracked the input to my power steering cooler; small leak so it will be replaced with a larger one and I am adding a oil cooler with it) BTW - blew my front passenger going to the show this Sunday - something else to fix now

All - its been a long road to what everyone see's today. Also I do appreciate everyone's honest opinion - if someone doesnt like something....kool because your just being true and nothing wrong with that. I have seen mods done to cars and it didnt move me, but I still give them props because it keeps the scene moving and growing and trust me enjoy it while we can!!!

Chris your G is badass Having themes that are not done by everyone is a good thing, you keep at it and I KNOW you've been trying to keep it out of the shop and enjoy it.

Keep it up man.

just asking here and not even talking about the ^^^^^SUV . As this is a coupe thread..

What makes a daily driver a daily driver..? A few miles a day or quite a few miles? You said driven like you stole it. Are your choices driven that way?

Maybe we should have a low miles driven hottest so cal car, and a driven like you stole it car...Let the miles speak for the ride..

Personally I like Chris's car. I would not even pick it apart. The engine bay is awesome as well as the rest of the car. I also had to make a choice repainting mine it sometimes money over everything matters..Another car not spoken of is Alvin's ride..So lets quit picking the cars apart and start back on topic. Some one nominate a list..
