For California Adjusters

Okay i was in a car accident back in 61108 the damage repair came out to about 20k know sounds really high and i don't know why the f#$#ck the insurance did not totaled it i guess they said it was all cosmetic and from what the bodyshop is telling me everything will be replace by OEM only. So my question is in CALIFORNIA how would i go about claiming a Diminished Value Claim what are the steps on making this happen is it worth the trouble pursuing this do i need to actually sell my car first to get the Diminished Value any help will do thank you

Making a claim....?

Wow, $20K in damage without totaling the car....strange! Since you have insurance and they represent you (that's what you pay them for) make the
Diminished Value claim thru them. If for some reason that doesn't work the
alternative would be to hire a (choke) lawyer....How long is your car going to
be in the body shop? Hope you're driving a rental, and it's not coming out of
your pocket!
