in my opinion Pinks hot dogs are way better than portillos.

the hot dog itself is good, but the chilli beans are not worth wild at portillos.

Pinks also has better fries.

I was very disapointed in portillos.

pinks was cool back like 5 years ago before all the freakin tourists; the line now is ungodly and so not worth it. i much rather get the bacon wrapped grease monkeys off the street.

Best Chili Dog....my opinion!

Yea, I've been to Pinks....but the very best hot dog in town used to be CUPID'S until the owner died and his son spoiled the company.
There's still an original CUPID'S over by Cal State Northridge!

I dunno a hot dog is just a hot dog until you've eaten one from the corner vendors in NYC! mmmmmmmm I don't know or care whats in them but wow!

When I was on S-Techs I made it, but thats when everything was stock. But now with Coils and a Ts Front I know for a fact that I will not make it.

my boss is from new york. ive always wanted to eat a hot dog from the corner stands. My boss advised me to never eat from there, most of them dont pass grade inpections or dont even have a license to sell, which means they dont get graded.

he also stated its like drinking water from mexico, if you not from there then dont drink it. (if you dont know, water from mexico makes you have the runs)

I feel ashamed. I'm a native Los Angelino and I've never eaten at Pinks nor Roscoes. I've eaten Pinks at the LA County Fair, but ya'll probably will tell me it's not the same. Those are two places that have always eluded me for one reason or another.
