I would look at Area's around Culver City, Westchester or even Marina Del Rey. Being from that area (Leimert Park) I would not recommend living in these areas with a nice vehicle....... For that matter, anything nice!

Go Crenshaw Cougars!

Although my plate show the pride of where I am from. it has caused many of situations where I freaked out. I was crusing down Hawthorne around 9pm and 1980 Van kept follwoing me and throwing high lights at me..I was a bit worried when he caught up to me at a stop light and to my surprise he was from Tepa himself.

another: 10 freeway from Palm Springs. pick-up truck kept pulling up to my window and yelling ..i could not tell what he was saying but I had no intention to pull over. he went around me and his passenger said ARRIBA TEPA.

gets scary some times...but I still roll in Lennox on occasion.

wifeys side of family all stay in inglewood. they could do better imo.
rode my bicycle to work one day, if you dont need to pass lenox, dont.
i used to work in inglewood many years. manhattan beach /so bay is much better, or even westchester or marina del rey.
i left there in '93, after rodney king rioting.

Commute, but in another car. Maybe a Geo Prism. Seriously, your car would be a target for a jacking or robbery.
