I had consistent 8.8's all night. My bro was at 9.0 and hit 8.9 once. As for Henry, if I recall it was either a 9.2 or 9.3.

damn! Those Ms and 335i are fast! I guess not fast enough though now that your considering a Z-06 There was a Z-06 getting tuned at Churches not long ago... super charger, some tricked out intake, exhaust and I forget what else - he said he runs 10s (1/4 of course)

Tell your brother to get that chip they put in the 335i... the dude I raced at Irwindle had it and that car hauled @ss!!! he said its only $500 and adds boatloads of power!

9.302 @ 78 MPH with a 2.2 60 ft (bald tires )

I would have felt better with a 9.299 even though its only a few thousands of a second difference

That GM Employee discount is insane for the C6 Z06. I'd jump all over it if I had that kind of money right now!

They usually don't give any incentives on the C6 Z06's.

Yeah, both bimmers are fast but I have the opportunity to jump in another car, so I figure why not? And everytime I get another car, it has to at least be somewhat faster than my previous car, you know?

Either way, the Z06 is on my list cuz of the employee discount. If I can't get that discount which is just about 10grand, then I'm not gonna do it. I'm considering a car that's around th very low 60's, so with the discount it puts me right at $62k, no navi though but who cares lol

my friend James with a 335i sedan, has his chipped, exhaust, down pipes, intake and drag radials (if I'm not mistaken). Dude does 8.0 at Irwindale!! And to top it off, he was having issues at Irwindale. The exact same car did a 12.6 (or 12.3) @ CS the last time we were there, and his car was shutting off (limp mode) half way down the track!! just insane!!!

My bro knows about these tunes(chips), but he also knows I wouldn't let him install one on his car. Reason being, we just got to Arkansas on Friday and he'll be having it here for almost a year cuz he goes to a University out here. And if he ever had any issues with the car because of the tune, I wouldn't be here to take off the tune nor would I have my local service advisor at BMW to take care of the car either. So if he does have any issues with the car, he can take it straight to the dealership without any issues. At least that's my resoining(sp?).

I know exactly what you're going through with the bald tires. It's no fun!

I'm sure you've checked the chevy website since you're all about the Z06. The one thing that confuses me is, I check that little Employee Discount pop-up and it says there's about a $10k discount, but when I go build it, it doesn't show anything. Weird huh? If I get sometime this coming weekend, I might just swing by the Chevy dealership and ask them what's up with that.

GT3 > Z06

I love the Z06 but I haven't gone as far as to "Build One" on their website; I'd would just be playing with my imagination if I did

I'm sure it has to do with the fact that they haven't modified their built calculators to include the employee discount.
