60000 Mile Service question

Anyone here had their 60k service done at the dealership?

Was it worth it? Where did you go? How much did you pay? Thoughts?

I was recently quoted over $1000 and that just seems ridiculous to me.

I'm desperate for some assurance or advice on this.

R&D for your Service... Very nice guys and very good at what they do. they specialize for 350Z/g35 and 240SX. pretty much they know what they are doing and do it cheaper

$1,000 for service without parts? I think that's way too much. I was quoted around $800 from infiniti Tustin.

I ended up with having service done at the local repair shop and it cost me
slightly over $500.00 (Parts and labor included)

They changed
1. Spark plugs(NGK)
2. Air filter(K&N)
3. Synthetic Oil change + Oil filter change
4. Front brake pads replacement.(2 Brembos)
5. Throtle body cleaning
6. Small stuff like tire pressure check and etc.

Asked them for diff fluid and transmisstion oil fluid(6MT) but they recommended me to wait until I hit 10K miles. I don't know if I can keep driving without changing tranny oil till 10K or not but everything seems like working fine.

The only issue I had after service was check engine warning.
It was saying, oil filter was not tightened enough blah blah blah and I noticed the
idling RPM was pretty higher than usual. I reset the ECU by disconnecting negative cable from battery for about 30 minutes and those things got back to normal.

I just had mine done at a local dealership (Miller Van Nuys). The sequence of events went something like this:

* They quoted me $692.
* I **** my pants.
* I told them to skip air filters (do it myself), tire balancing (I have the 6MT sport so they can't be rotated and the tires are newish anyway), cabin filter (do it myself), and battery service (they just clean the contacts by spraying chemicals on them). Basically just had them do all the fluids because I hate dealing with them.
* End price was just under $400.

I live in San Diego, and Kearny Mesa Infiniti wanted to charge me $1400.
I went to the dealership to talk to the dealer rep,
and heres what they gave me:

Major Stuffs:
Bilstein Engine Clean
Differential Service
Fuel Injector Cleaning
Thruttle Body Service
Auto Transmission Service
ADD MOC Engine Treatment
Replace Drive Belt
Replace Air Cleaner Filter
Replace Engine Coolant
Install A/C Hepa Filter

Minor Stuff
Replace Wiper Blades
Deluxe Car Wash
Replenish Washer Fluid
Rotate and Balance Tires (free at discount tire)
Replace Engine Oil (comes w/ oil change)
Replace Engine Oil Filter (comes w/ oil change

Inspection:
Inspect All Lights
Inspect Power Steering Fluid
Inspect Axles & Suspension
Inspect Brake Pads/Rotors
Inspect Drive Shaft/Boots
Inspect Steer Gear/Linkage
Inspect Exhaust System
Inspect Horn Operation
Inspect Air Condition System
Inspect Fuel Lines/Vapor

And on top of that they want to charge me more:
Nitrogen Tire Service $69.95 (not needed)
Power Steering Fluid Exchagne $149.95
Brake Fluid Flush $149.95
Replace Engine Air Filter $52
Alignment $115

I think its way too expensive at this dealership.
