It depends...a friend of a friend just got popped for a tint cite. It was just a fix-it ticket. Maybe the chippie wanted a better look at you w/o the tint.

Sup Sleek....?

You can't get away with 5% in Ca.! CHP/LAPD/SHERIFF departments want to
see who's in the car and with 5% tint they can't. So 5 tickets in one week
for the same thing, sounds like they have your number. Leave it off your
doors for a month then go light like 35%....don't forget to leave your sunroof
shade open that's allows more light into your car. (less chance of being
stopped) I've been extremely lucky with 35% tint and no front license plate,
it's just a matter of time or a cop that's OTR!

you should just get 35% up front or something instead of nothing
i hate when people stare at me because they know i'm staring at them.

since Jan I have gotten 8 front plate and tint tickets I now have a court date for Dec 12th to deal with them since I kept getting the tickets in the same time that the others were still due. I got 2 in 1 week from different agencies (lapd/chp)

I just retinted my fronts back to 5% but Im really getting sick of the hassel...Time to spend the tint ticket money on a cage and pull the tints off to show it

DAM!

Nice ride... I have the exact same hood and bumper set up.. Just got the Greddy sideskirts on and they look amazing w/ the bumper lip.. Next up is the klumzee CS style rear bumper to complete the kit.

car looks great without tints!
The only problem is its gonna be very hot inside your car in the summer time and your arms will surely get a tan

Not ticket yet for me, but just picked up my IP 05 G35X that was a new york car and had sweet tinted windows. Never really had dark tint in Mass, so I was psyched, until I pulled up to get my inspection sticker and the kid looks at my car, starts shaking his head, measures and tells me I have 18% tint. Might be able to get away with that on the rear windows, but 35% only for the front and he can't give me a sticker until I correct it. At least he did not take my money and fail me.

Also told me it is upto $250 a window fine here in Mass. What freakin' BS.

Have an appointment this weekend to remove the tint in the front and then throw on 35.
