I detailed the TL!!!!

Ex-GF's 2005 Acura TL.. anyones thats seen this reck in person KNOWS it was in beyond terrible condition! Car is NOT garaged and was last kinda half washed in April before that iono then it was IMPOUNDED for 30 days back in May and was never washed since then over 6 months of no wash parked outside abused by sprinklers and dirt.. This car was brown with stains everywhere and waterspots (Sorry no pix I have an Iphone and the night pix didnt come out at all )

Steps:
Wash with Meguires NXT Wash.. (Originally I was just going to was it with her cause I couldnt stand it anymore )
Washed AGAIN with dish washing soap after I saw how horrible it looked after the wash
Clay with ClayMagic Medium.. 1st time I had to use a WHOLE bar for the car and a full bottle of quick detail
PorterCable @ 3,000rpm - 4,500rpm with hard pad to clean paint - stains, blemmishes, scuffs, rubber streaks?
Swirl Remover/Compound @ 3,000-4,000rpm slow buff for all the scratches and swirls.. >.<
Glaze apply with porter cable at 3,000rpm
Polish at 4,000rpm
Seal.. then I had some time so seal x2.. figure its not going to get detailed anytime soon again..

Windows were fcking OWNED.. Stains had to be removed with the hard pad at 6,000rpm with polishing compound.. so GG on the pad

Plastic trims were faded beyond belief.. but I didnt have the supplies to wash (gave it to a forum member that came by for an install)

Tires needed to be scrubbed then shined with EagleONE =D

Did the Exterior:
Outside
Door Jams
Windows (insideout)
Sunroof (Tray & Rails)
Trunk Bay
Exhaust Tips
Polish Headlights and Tails
Fuel Door Area
Mud Guards & Wheel Wells

Didnt have time to do
Interior
Pull the Wheels
Engine Bay

I wanted to do more work on the paint.. Probably spent around 30min-45min per panel fixing them (stains and swirls) =\ the cleanest panel was the rear bumper *sigh.. Started 12am-1am.. Finished 8AM.. to give you an idea how bad it was heres some pix of the INTERIOR

lastly sorry iphone pix they fail horribly and this was taken around 7:30am haha -__- I dont have a camera.. bought one for the ex.. well she's my ex now so no more camera

again sorry for the fail pix hahah i had to leave for work so couldnt wait for the sun to come up

hmm Anyone want to try me out haha $200 for full detail..

YOU need to arrive or drop your car off at 7:00am or the night before (dont worry it will be garaged)

Steps:
Wash with Meguires NXT, or Dawn.. depending what your car looks like
Clay using ClayMagic either light or med clay.. lubed w/quick detailer
Will remove all stains off paint
Will remove swirls and minor scratches
Major scratches - LMK ahead of time I need to buy compound
R&R Wheels and clean as necessary, chrome will be polished - polished will be polished.. clear coat wheels will be waxed.. inner barrel will be cleaned.. etc.. depending on what kinda wheel
Suspension components will be cleand and fender liners will be cleaned (my wash includes cleaning UNDER the bumper and rockers etc..)
Exhaust Tips/Canisters are polished using mother's metal polish.. if its in bad condition imma bust out the 3M stuff with the grinder haha
Windows are simply washed, clayed if necessary and remove stains
HeadLamps and TailLamps are buffed with plastic polish

PAINT: Glazes, Polishes, Sealants will vary depending on color [SMART, Meguires, Klasse, 3M is what I use]

INTERIOR: Leather is cleaned and conditioned depending on what you want, darker tone, stickier, slide around.. etc.. Carpet.. vacuumed and brushed.. Sorry I dont like doing carpets -_- Trunk remains untouched, I dont do headliner ._. Dash is up to you.. I have the stuff that dealers use (PERMA Plate) its up to you if you want it on.. it looks like armorall for about 5 days then it drys and gives it a dark finish.. but the 5 days before is x.x and it smells

Engine: it'll look pretty.. depending on how bad it is ._. in the end of the day its dresssed up using back-to-black for most parts..

Tools:
PorterCable
Some Random Autozone Orbital Buffer that spins at 2,500rpm
Big sponge for leather.. and ehh lots of towels.. .-.
yes parts of your car will be disassembled but dont worry I'll put it back =) wheels will be torqued, babies wont be dropped, and it'll take around 6-12 hours depending on what condition the car is in

fck i needa post better pictures.. bleh wished the "dirty" tl turned out.. fcking iFail with this iPhone..
