Walk To Cure Diabetes

Should be a great day at Dodger stadium, no matter the amount help support us and help cure diabetes. "Every dollar counts"

I will also be doing another walk the following saturday at UCI.

Not sure what type 1 diabetes is come out, hangout and join us in working on a cure. With my daughter developing this almost a year ago I was blind to what diabetes was? now I have dug in and tried to learn as much as possible. It has also made me aware of what we eat and how bad some food really is.......

Thanks for the support and talk to everyone soon.

diabetes can be obtained through heredity too...so people dont just get it from eating a lot of sugar

i agree, but many cases are type ii becuz people cant control their diets.
the walk is definitely a good cause but it's something thats easily preventable. people are just lazy and think taking pills or something will help them. getting regular exercise and a good healthy diet are all you need.

I also know people with type 2 diabetes, but what you have to understand also is everyone situation is different and there are many things that effect you. Stress, hormones etc. A diet and being active is very important and also understanding what foods are good to eat, many salads are just as bad as eating a hambuger.
