g35driver gets discounts through Veronica as instructed in the first one. Work it out with her then go to what ever shop you want. They transfer tires between the two.

 

Hmmmm . . . . maybe we can get better pricing that way too. I need tires pretty soon so that might work out.

 

I think its cause so many people from driver called to get prices and arent really looking to buy just lookin to get prices, thats probably why she isnt callin back, i did call a few times to get prices and she started not callin back, if u tell your you are serious about buyin i think she'll get serious.

First, let me say that it was not Veronica I spoke with. It was some other girl but I don't remember her name. Second, I made it very clear to her that I need tires very soon and I am very serious about getting tires within the next couple of weeks (I am practically on slicks right now :P). Lastly, it's not a very good business practice to not call back EVEN if someone is just shopping around. That doesn't mean that later on when they are really serious, they won't come back to you because you called back promptly and gave good pricing. I am an independent insurance broker here in Cali and I can't tell you how many times people call just for pricing, shopping around, that will call me back weeks and sometimes months later to get insurance. If I tell someone I will call them back with pricing (quote), I always make sure to call them back. In any case, I will make sure to only deal with Veronica from now on anyways. I'm sure this one girl is not representative of the way the rest of the people at Global Tires are. Too many people on here have already given them good reviews. /rant

I just bought 2 used tires (80% thread) 255/40/19 PS2's for $94 each, mounted and balanced. I should of given Veronica a call on Friday... Oh well. Maybe in 19k more miles hahaha

 

Veronica never gave me a call back as well. I called here twice, but by the way she sounds when she's on the phone that they are pretty busy around there. The problem is that I need rear tires ASAP since my left rear won't hold air since it sounds like it has a puncture, luckily it's a run flat so I can still get around. But, they've still gotten many good reviews, so I'll be heading down to one of their locations this Saturday.

BTW, anyone who has bought tires from there, can you please tell me how much you were able to get 275/35/19 for? It doesn't matter what brand, I just want to get a general idea of what the price is.

 

I need front tires. I will be sure to talk to Veronica and make sure she is prompt with you guys. They def are busy though. As the economy worsens, the more people want to save. They hands down have the best used tires with the best prices. I have been buying used since I bought my G simply because of the cost for good tires in our sizes.

If I can recall, my 275/35/19 contact sport 2's with like 80% were about $120 or $130, can't remember exact price. Compare that to $400 a tire and its a steal.

I thank Omar for letting me know about this spot! Dude they have Global Tires Inc a few miles away from me. That was awesome! I was gonna drive to the LA Location and found out about the Wilmington Location and took me 5mins from LB to get there got new rear tires
