It's tint which looks better and at the price..it's actually cheaper.

if possible, check out Shane's car..it was done by R&J

the process is..he preps the lights and paints and assuming there is no need to color sand or polish..it can be done in a couple of hours. if there is a need to color sand or polish then it takes over-night

is it gonna be glossy? cuz I have a set of blue's overlays opaque and they weren't exactly what I expected, it was black, but kinda dull, so it didn't really match the car's color. I know if i want 100% matching tails then I would have to paint them, but i'm not willing to pay the price when there are cheaper alternatives, how good are these?

these are not black..they are more like a red tint and are somewhat glossy.

another difference, Bat's are overlays and this is more of a tint with paint.

dpending where you stay..you are welcome to come by the shop as he has one as a sample that was to be placed on my sedan.

I've never gotten mine done because the first thing that attracted me to the G was the tail lights

Can they do "tints" on the headlights?

Hmm... if anything I'll just call and ask later... who should I ask for?

It is ilegal..but just like window tint(drivers and passenger side are as ilegal) you run the risk of getting a fix it ticket. one thing to note is that Lawrence(redskyline) is firefighter and has the plates to back it up..so I guess the cops maybe a little more lenient with him.
