I thought it was pretty cheap. $80 to paint an M3 lip spoiler.. and he had to paint match it.

+1, Mob used to be cool but now they want 600 to paint a bumper.
I would go to Auto Explosion. Went there to do my bumper (350, PERFECT paint match w/ just the gas cap lid as reference) and they also did a bodykit on my brother's car which was a perfect match as well. Little bit far but well worth it. I think they quoted me like 350 to paint/install side skirts.

Money is not an issue for me hahahaha, Miguel@MobWorks takes care of me no problemo Very decent deals too, can't complain. He took something that didn't even fit at all and made it fit pretty much Perfect! That's what I'm talking about!

Perfect! I'll take my car to MobWorks and you can pay for my flared fenders, reverse hood cowl and shaved door trim - and while they're at it, have them do rear suicide doors (that’s the one that I'll probably never get to do unless I win the lottery).

Hook me up

All my other stuff has been at Auto Explosion - and I was gonna have them do the rest (other than suicide doors)... but I might take you up on your offer to see what Mob Works can do - thanks for the help

If I could afford it I'd have it done already. I like the idea of rear suicide doors - especially since I havent seen it done on a G sedan.

The other "some day" mod is chopped top... I think rear suice doors and chop top would be sweeeeeet!

I was at my buddies shop thinking about how to get the doors with the handles side by side with the front doors.

brain-wrecking

there are kits to do the mod... I researched it a little... I always thought it would be nearly impossible, but I think it’s doable... but it wouldn’t be cheap (to do it right) and I'd have to research more to find a shop that has done it a few times (or more).

Secretly I hope someone does it before me – then I wont bother doing it (I only like the idea because no one else has done it).

Tim (ttrank) just let out a tease in another thread that he is doing a mod that “some people will like, some will hate”… I wonder if its this? I haven’t seen/heard anyone say they want to do it (other than me and SoCalTed) and now you.

I’m going to start keeping my ideas to myself until I do them

Well you got a leg up on me..Wife won't let me do a single thing to the car until we buy a house. I have the means to not pay labor but I would still need to pay for parts and paint. the offer to paint the car has been there for a while but right now I still want to get "some" from the wife so I have to wait.

the hard part for me would be to get the handles on the doors(functional) I want it to look like the old Cadi(with suicide)
