Wheel repair... Im leaking....

When I came back from lunch today I noticed that one of tires was running flat... so I took the G to my local tire shop so they could check out the tire for damage and see if it was repairable. They called me back and told me there was nothing wrong with the tire but instead the problem was my DPE wheel! Apparently there's a crack/leak where the center wheel meets the barrel that's causing a slow leak. They recommended their wheel guy to take it and to repair it but couldnt give me a estimate because they didn't know what it would take to repair it.... welding.. silicone... who knows!?! So I said hell no and just had them put some air back into the tire.

So Im just wondering if any of you guys have had this same problem and have any recommendations for a local wheel repair place/person (909/626/714). Im planning to call Velvet Touch.. but not sure if they can repair something like this.. plus there's some mixed reviews here on the forum about their work. Any help would be appreciated

Post #100 Yeah!!! .... I know.. i fail...

Take it to DPE located in Irvine. They'll probably reseal it for no charge.

Yeah bro, if this is a quality issue then DPE needs to address it. They're DPE's! Not some cheap ebay knock offs.

Ouch, I would definitely bring it up to DPE. These rims are definitely not cheap.
