^^^ 2C is right... someone should call these $100-$200 installers on their bs - then be sure to post out here who referred and squash them!

TS installed Crawford’s for $800 (fair & avg price) - DC, Strup, Stillen all should be $400-$600... anyone claiming to do it for $50-$200 is a monkey mechanic or a crack addict desperate for money... I am waiting for someone to go to these guys and have headers installed... it will either be the score of the century ($20 pr hr avg labor) or the call out of the boards.

Stop posting BS labor prices.

Either get the damn headers installed for the price posted or STFU! You are misleading ppl that actually use these threads for REAL research

have you installed a set of headers on a G before? If so how long did it take you? (I hope you don’t say something stupid like the 20 minute post)… typically it’s an all day thing at best...

Sorry for the last harsh post I made - it wasn’t directed at anyone particularly - its just that there are all these posts about ridiculously cheap labor for installing headers - but no one has stepped up to say they actually got headers installed for that cheap. And if/when someone does, I'm anxious to hear if the installer will do it again. Lets face it, people will be lining up for $100 header install... but that isn’t happening.

nah, see if you were a close friend, for 100 bucs install id just call you a dumbasss, but hey its your offer! You'd actually do those hours of work for 100 bucs?? What is wrong with you??? Economy should have a desperate effect on you then, taking that money for that kind of job, your tolerance must be low. Again I'm not judging you, I dont know you.

Yeah never again, people don't realize that you will spend more on the labor then the headers actually cost. You're spending about or over a $1,000 for them and the install at a hook up price. Best time to do it is if you're car has oil consumption and it is going to be under warranty have them install them while the motor is out since they have to take them off the original motor to put on the new one. We've don them here a few times for some of our customers.

I installed my own and it took me from 8 in the morning to almost 2 in the morning with a few breaks in between. Driver side is easy once you get the heat shield off and remove the steering ***. the passenger side sucks with the water hose and everything in your way. I did it all with with jack stands and no lift. Worst time ever. Putting them on is a task in it's own. Luckily I got help from NASTYBOY othrwise I would of been screwed. Forum members FTW!
