Was your prior tint ticket correctable? If so, I don't see how he would have known unless your tint ticket was not correctable (fine).

That sucks, and have never heard of anyone getting that.

I'm pretty sure its less expensive to take if off and get it retinted than getting an actual fine. Plus, it doesn't stay on record (I assume non-correctable tint tickets do?)

So I just received a notice through mail of my front plate/tint tickets.

Why does it state "Bail Amount: 50.00c" when its clearly checked in the ticket (and stated by the officer) as a correctable ticket?

you might have to end up visiting the court. Sorry to hear.
