Eldy,
It was a pleasure to meet you and your girlfriend.
The short cut to LACR/Palmdale was very sweet. Zero traffic, half the distance and half the time … what can I say ... it's the Angeles Crest and I'm a total sucker for the twisties it provides. I'm a Crest junky! Even at the COP friendly leisure pace under my guidance, it was pure bliss to negotiate through the infinite turns and elevation changes.
The day was looking grim when we first arrived. High temperature topped with sand carrying hurricane head wind made for a lousy combo to fast runs and being miserable. I'm glad to say things took a turn for the better just a couple of hours into it when the o'mighty sun began to pale and set. Gone are the wind and down with the temperature. As a bonus, there were very little traffic at the track. I luv it! Time slips are getting faster by the runs. Eldy managed to beat my bone stock time his first time out! Gurgen's running around like a happy little boy preying on naturally aspirated cars. Randy's doing well as usual ... doing the grass hopper off the line. Haemi? ... well she disappeared on us =p Mean while, I set several personal bests. This car's got some ballz ... she kept getting better every time I bolt something on
Wow ... what a blast I had last night! It was quite possibly the best experience I had at LACR ... by a long shot. Thanks for coming out and sharing the camaraderie!
Ciao,
Clint (THX723)

Clint, Gurgen, Randy n Amy! Thanks for showing me the ropes! I wen't up the return road to the time slip booth after inspection looking for you guys when we first got there because I didn't know where the track was. ;> Haha!
I have the video of two of our runs, Randy. Our first one where you whooped me and then the third from inside my car when I got the better R/T. I won't be able to post 'em though until the end of next week. I'm going to VA... They'll be up as soon as I get back though!
Thanks for the awesome time!
And I just have to say DAMN Gurgen your car is quiiiiiick!
