I raced another G35 last night and Well I just won by a little his front bumper to my rear bumper and he when we got to the next light he didn't even acknowlege! I was like damn at least saywhats up.

 

That sucks!.. I get those all the time. I try to say what's up but, they just look away and leaving me looking stupid! but, you know...who cares? hehe!!

Yeah I do.. when I'm on the freeway I'll beep at other G35 drivers and smile or wave or whatever. Sometimes people just don't get it though.

 

yea I do at times as well and the greet back.

Its kinda like the Jeep Wrangler thing...those of you who ever ridden in one should know. Its kinda like common Courtesy to wave in a Jeep to a fellow Jeeper.

I concur....I like giving other G drivers "the nod"...or ill say nice ride...some people are Aholes though....

I try to say hi but its a 50/50 thing, I'll get some hi's/nod/thumbs up but some people just look at you like your crazy. I'll keep trying till they all get it!

yeah i say whats up, and they dont even respond, like they think their car is better than mine or something!??

and then when you race people that have other cars and the light turns red, they dont even look over!! wtf??

o that reminds me, some car was chasing me on the freeway goin like 110 in traffic (dont try this at home!), and when i got to my exit (irvine spectrum) it turned out to be a camry! my friend was like HOLY...

Yeah, I always look over, give a nod or thumbs up, then I think to myself - "I wonder if this guy/girl is a member of g35driver..."

I've seen several cars in south OC and especially in Irvine (I work in Irvine, live in Ladera)... and I can almost bet that many of those drivers post on this forum....

we need a special signal or something (like a batsignal, but not really.... heheh)

I always have WRX's trying to race me on the 5/405 interchange near the Spectrum.... I rarely entertain them, but once in a while I'll feel "the urge", downshift, and go from 70 to 100 in the blink of an eye....

I try too.. usually look in their direction, but almost 90% of the time they look straight and not wave back. It's not the same anymore. When G35s were rare, everyone would wave at each other. Now there are so many of them, it's almost pointless to wave hi.

I too usually give a nod or small hand wave, but the respone back is typically... well... non-responsive... Oh well...

 

uh...not really....i just kind of find it weird to wave at other G35 drivers on freeway...it's...weird....


but other G35s(especially coupe) drivers i've ran into so far, have very unique way of saying hi....they try to race...duh...

90% of them did not look at me.
6% can not see me and i can not see them because of our tinted windows.
3% we pass by eachother so fast.we didn't have chance to wave.
the remain 1% i waved and none wave back so i don't wave anymore.
for those who will bump into me,i'll do it in advance WAVE,WAVE,THUMB UP

 

I live in LA and drive to Irvine for work every weekday.

I hit the 101, 5, 605 and the 405. Tour de LA/OC.

Anyway, i see a few. I always look over. I see a Marcy Darcy lookin woman. I see a DG coupe and a white coupe almost daily on the same route.

I look, even match speeds to see if they'll look over. Nothing.

For any of you others that like to say sup, i'm in the DG with changed SKYLINE & 350GT emblems and clear corners.
