+1, west LA (LAPD & BH) cops love giving out no front plate tix. Anytime you park in beverly hills, west LA, century city, LAX, etc, make sure you put your plate on.

for some reason the santa monica PD don't care as much...got a few parking tix over there, but never a no front plate one. guess its cause the SM police don't run front plates either

i think lapd is pretty cool. they dont care about tints and other minor things from my experience.
in LA, theres actually crime to fight
but i live in 909/626 area and theres no real crime to fight so cops just spend eternity hasslin' the public for minor offenses

i honestly think the SM police are lazy, dood. i got hit by some older lady in a camry when i was out jogging one day. my ex and i confronted her and she boned out. we got the lic plate no. and flagged down a SM cop. they didn't do ****! they were like "well, technically, sir, you don't really have any damages. plus, she's out of our jurisdiction bc she doesn't live here." wtf

Let me tell you right now through experience..
So cal cops are usually douche bags and will re-ticket you for the offense.
If you have a ticket and have not had the court/correction date passed, they will issue you another fix it ticket.
If it has passed, you will get a ticket for non compliance (this is NOT correctable! ) -- especially if you 'corrected' the offense and then you decided to become a repeat offender.

what i don't get are the beat up, nasty vans, campers, 70' lincoln continental, etc. etc., parked on the side of the road w/ people LIVING in them, along w/ all their filth, trash, fecal matter, what have you. how the fvck do these people get away w/ this???

so, you're gonna pull me over bc of my exhaust but it's ok to drive a biohazardous heap and park in on city streets, day after day, night after night?
