what's up w/this list??? not all for the big shoot, i hope. there will be plenty of photo ops at the main meet, so don't feel bad fellas. it's just that's way more cars than what we planned for. it should only be 10-12 tops, all 1st gen, all modded(not just rims & a drop) and no more than 2-3 of the same color. Marcus and Mike lemme know what time frame you guys are thinkin' so me & Grant know when to roll up. just so everyone know's the plan is for an "all star" shoot separate from the meet, either before(dawn-ish) or after(dusk-ish).

Sorry my bad guys, I thought this was the sign up list on who is going to be there. Yeah of course I would like to be in the pics but if its limited then I will edit my name off the list. BTW I am not sure if I could be there on time since I am coming from Seattle and you guys will shoot this first thing in the morning.

well, if it's just a list of who's going to the main meet, then it's all good. i just wanted to clear things up so no one feels shafted later.

 

I’m just sitting back and waiting for things to shake out bro… every time I mention something things just spin a different direction (slightly out of control).

I’m just waiting to see what this turns into – and make decisions later.

Marcus knows the photo shoot location I mentioned earlier – he’s the one that told me about it and I met with him a few days ago about something else and reminded him of the location… btw, it faces south-west so morning would be better for a shoot... but not too early becasue there is a big hill that blocks the sun (actually I guess thats good? Marcus and Grant are the experts on lighting, all I know is at dusk it wont work - Grant and I tried it at a different location). I’ll let Marcus take the lead on the what/where/when…

But I do need to touch base with Grant…

 

cool beans, thanks for the update Mike... as it stands now, Grant and i are planning to be there noon-ish, unless we need to be there sooner.

 

So it looks like the only spot suggested was Cal Poly (the other spot sounds like it would be too small to accomodate).

Can some of you guys please suggest another 3 spots or so? I'd like to get about 3 or 4 possible spots. I will then post up a poll and we can get that portion of the meet nailed down/voted in. This is seperate from any formal photoshoot some of you have been discussing. I think the photogs can suggest or pick a spot for that.

I've always though El Dorado Park in Long Beach would be a good sport for a meet... its centrally located for LA and OC (basically on the border of the two counties... easy to get to from 605 fwy (via 91 or 405) and plenty big.

i believe you pay a few dollars to get into El dorato Park, that info could be usedful in the decision process that way no one starts crying like the HB meet
